In 2013, with the support of TBC Bank, the company made significant investments, including the acquisition of asphalt and bitumen modification plants, strengthening its production and technological capabilities.
Bitumen Modification Plant
In partnership with Marini, a long-standing partner of Black Sea Group, the company conducted in-depth studies of production and technological processes. Team members completed professional training programs in Turkey, Italy, and on-site, ensuring the effective management and continuous improvement of technological operations.
Among the major projects completed by the Group are the runway of Tbilisi International Airport, Baratashvili Ascent, and numerous other infrastructure developments. As part of the Tbilisi Airport project, the supply of 25,000 tonnes of bitumen was required within 90 days. To meet this demand, the Agayani storage facility operated continuously, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of bitumen to two asphalt plants.
